I found this 2-day training while searching for presentation skills courses on SkillsFuture. After comparing a few options, I chose this one even though it was more expensive—and I’m glad I did. Iwan was highly engaging throughout the weekend course I took back in April 2024, with many of the applicable skills still relevant for my real life practice at work meetings even more than a year later. Previously, I would feel shaky even when presenting to my small team, but the course has given me the confidence to speak up actively at work, and with larger audiences. Iwan also fostered a safe and supportive atmosphere that encouraged participation. To maximise the benefits, I would recommend participants seize every opportunity to present and speak in front of the class, as the practice is invaluable in this secure environment. From just a short 2 days of the Presentation/Public speaking workshop, I was exposed to so much useful and insightful advice provided by the trainer, Iwan. The trainer is very proficient in his knowledge of ways to give a good presentation. There are also opportunities for us to practise the concepts learnt during the course (I.e. participants can choose to present and demonstrate the skills that they have learnt). The trainer would then evaluate the participants' performance (pointing out the positives and areas for improvement). I've also learnt alot from the tips the trainer have provided on how to deal with anxiety. From the experience shared by the trainer, I've changed my perspective towards presentation - from disliking presentations to being open to be aware of my own weaknesses so that I can identify what's causing me to dislike presentations. Will definitely recommend anyone who wants to improve their presentation skills/learn about their weaknesses to take up this course!
Just attended a 2 days Presentation Skills & Public Speaking workshop conducted by Mr Iwan. To be frank, I was quite skeptical at first on what this young man can offer BUT trust me! He is a walking library and that he knew his stuffs really well and I was really amazed. Wonderful coaching skills and always generous to share what is not in the textbook. Not only he assess each and every trainee’s presentation, he also gave pointers on how you can tackle the issues you are facing. I strongly recommend people with trouble in public speaking and presentation to attend this course. I’m confident to say that you’ll leave the workshop a better YOU!

Attended the course on how to beat anxiety, and it was all worth the time and money. The course got us to dig deep into our inner selves to discover what our own triggers of anxiety are, how to be aware of them, and the ways we could help ourselves overcome them.
